  1. 1. $1.25 million to fund Prove Properties Holdings LLC, the holding company which manages the algorithm IP, property management, bookings and customer service and real estate acquisition
  2. 2. $40 million to fund the initial debt and equity purchases of real estate to be held in LPs. Investors can choose to be mortgage debt-holders, equity investors or both.

The internet has also unlocked a world of travel opportunities in the great outdoors as well as practical alternatives to hotels for group travel around colleges and stadiums.

The app includes upsells such as electric-assist bicycles and other regionally relevant options.

    Wanderhome has been developed by David Shor, CEO of a well-respected Los Angeles-based digital marketing and technology agency, Prove. By leveraging the significant technological and customer acquisition and retention skillsets of Prove, Wanderhome will be able to reduce its dependency on third party booking engines and, through Prove-powered marketing automation, we will develop stronger relationships to keep guests coming back.

    In 2014 when we began looking at the vacation rental market, we sought a fix for the unpredictable experience. Our solution turned out to be in the data. We developed our investing algorithm that found patterns in the homes that delivered the greatest return on cash investment. These, in turn, were the homes that delivered the greatest satisfaction to their guests. For three years since the first investments were made, we have been refining our understanding of the perfect vacation property and refining our algorithms. We have proven them out and believe we have a proprietary tool that lets us pick the best vacation homes in any market globally. While much of the press focuses on urban area vacation rentals because of community objections to noise, Wanderhome will focus on the areas already welcoming of vacation rentals—what we call “the great outdoors” and “college and stadium adjacent” locations where local legislation has already agreed on a set of rules and taxes.
